Electregy is developing Key Technologies to Enable the Sustainable and Low-Cost Conversion of Biomass to Energy.

Electregy uses natural processes to turn biomass into useable energy. However, energy creation at a low cost is not the only benefit with using an Electregy solution. We minimize the use of water, heat and chemicals, by efficiently using complex polymers with technological breakthroughs in the break down of lignans to produce energy. As a by-product of Electregy’s solution, pollutants found in food waste are broken down and reconstituted, thus mitigating the toxic nature of the biomass. Unlike other cellulosic ethanol processes Electregy technology does not use harsh acids or rely on expensive metal catalysts.

The end result is carbon-neutral energy that does not add incremental CO2 to our atmosphere.
